The Diamond Jubilee
Sunday, May 20th, 2012To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Stoke Newington Church Street will host a street party that is set to give that Hovis ad a run for its money. On Friday June 3rd, there will be musicians, market stalls and a table stretching from the fire station to Albion road – All you need to bring is a chair, a flask of tea and a basket of scones! March Newsletter – Put A Spring In Your Step

The Spring Shoe, of course! You know the kind, too woven/open-toed/suede to withstand February’s puddles, but perfect for secretly enjoying this spring’s drought. It might not be good for the garden, but it’s perfect for this selection of new season footwear from Hub Shop.
Sessun’s buttercup-yellow suede sandals with a contoured wooden wedge heel would look perfect with a slick of bright red nail polish.
These soft suede boat shoes from Camper are excellent with a bare ankle and a rolled up chino (see our Dr Denim consignment for more info).
Neutral woven straw gives a fresh take on this slipper shoe from Hudson – our new favourite wear-with-everything style – it’s the thinking woman’s ballet pump.
Brazilian eco-brand Veja know their way around a plimsoll and this classic style in tennis-court white and green is no exception, the perfect ethical sneaker.
