This week we visited the Stoke Newington studio of Brider & Bull to find out a bit more about this local framing business and get their workwear picks from the new season.

Tell us a bit about yourselves.
"We are Dominic Brider & Tom Bull and we are the co founders of Brider & Bull picture framers. We specialise in high quality bespoke framing and we are based in Stoke Newington; a place we have both lived for over ten years."
How did you both get into framing?
"We have both spent a decade working in London for great framing companies and galleries alike, I fell into framing through a love of art and Dominic a love for woodwork. We worked together before deciding to go out on our own."
What has been your most memorable job?
"I have framed many incredible things in the past, but seeing a few Francis Bacon paintings up close, and not behind glass, was amazing."
What is the best thing about being an independent business?
"I love being an independent business because you get shape the direction you go in, it's also great meeting lots of new people. We both get a lot of satisfaction from doing a great job. Another great thing about being your own boss is the long lunch breaks."
What's your favourite place to eat in Stokey?
"The Parlour is our 'go to' eatery in Stokey. We probably go there most days and they are lovely, they also have a wide range of food from very healthy to not so healthy."
