The sale is coming to an end with final reductions on AW pieces and we are already thinking about what's coming next.
In fashion things work fast and the new Spring/Summer women collections have started landing in our stores. Therefore we asked Georgie and Lou (owners and buyers of HUB) to tell us about what to expect from this new exciting season.
One of the first things they wanted to share is how all our "carefully chosen brands have managed to maintain their own unique style whilst moving forward, creating pieces that reflect the HUB aesthetic and are truly desirable." HUB favourites were indeed enhanced, and new silhouettes created in fresh colour palettes and beautiful fabrications.
Georgie and Lou choose brands that are not dictated by fashion trends but for this season they have noticed and appreciated some key looks coming through. "We have seen a resurgence of workwear but with a twist, beautiful soft pre washed cotton twills in feminine colours, think ecru, blush hues and mid soft 70's denim."
Already in our stores and soon online, our old favourite Lee created a capsule collection that has "a vintage feel with a 2018 twist to it". 100% cotton, featuring traditional dungarees , cheesecloth shirting, classic denim jackets and high waisted wide leg jeans.
King and Tuckfield have produced a beautiful colour palette of tomato reds, ecru and indigo blues. The selection has a 1930s vibe, with garments constructed from deckchair fabrics and cotton ticking.
LF Markey presents her own unique Miro inspired print next to wonderful bright pops of colours (sunshine yellow and tangerine orange).
And then our firm favourite YMC , which took inspiration from the 50s for their collection. Fantastic fun prints, gingham ruffle necked cotton blouses in delicious ice cream shades, together with amazing high waisted peg trousers.
"We hope you love it as much as we do and find inspiration amongst our much loved brands old and new! Roll on those hazy, lazy days of Summer! " - Lou and Georgie x x
